Abstract

A thromboembolism remain one of the most serious complications in patients with neprotic syndrome. The precise mechanism for this complication is not clear yet, but several coagulation abnormalities in nephrotic syndrome may be operatable in
combination
with predisposing factors to induce the hypercoagulable state. The incidence of arterial thromboembolism is less common than that of venous thromboembolism in nephrotic syndrome.
We experienced a case of minimal change nephrotic syndrome complicated by the thrombosis of right common iliac artery. After emergent abdominal aortogram, we treated it with thrombolytic agent and anticoagulant successfully. There was no
recurrence
evidence of thrombosis 2 months following treatment. The authors report this case with a reviews of literature.
